  • One Week Post Launch Update - 6 May 2025

First, thank you to everyone who has played Card Summoner during its first week on Steam. This project has been a labor of love, inspired by YGO: Forbidden Memories, while creating our own unique experience. What we've heard so far Bugs at launch: Like any complex release, we shipped with more issues than we'd hoped. Hotfixes have gone out daily, and stability is already much better. We're sorry to those who hit the rough edges first. Card balance & synergy: A few cards feel underpowered or useless to some people. Once the major bugs are behind us and we are in maintenance mode we'll look into improving cards over time as we play and just enjoy the game. ________________________________________ Why we built the game Story-based, single player CCGs are a small niche, precisely why we dove in. Hey everyone, First, thank you so much for playing and supporting Card Summoner! It's been amazing seeing players explore the world we've built. We tested extensively with a small group before launch and felt confident — but as always, once the game reaches more players, more unexpected issues pop up. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to send feedback, report bugs, and suggest improvements. We're a small two-person team, and we’re actively working through all the reports and fixing issues. Some fixes may take a little extra time because we want to test everything properly before patching — the last thing we want is to accidentally create new problems while fixing others!
