  Fixed a silent but game-breaking bug when parsing numbers in locales using decimal comma. ATTENTION: If both of the following apply to you, your save file may have been corrupted. Your PC's locale uses comma (",") as the decimal separator, e.g., "0,5" means "half." (Most European and South American countries. • Escape Everlit to launch on July 31st! Demo updated (save file compatible)! - 17 July 2025

  Hey there, I'm ash from Lantao Studio, a solo gamedev. After a year and a half of development (2,700 full-time work hours), "Escape Everlit" is finally set to officially launch at the end of this month. The beta testing process has garnered wonderful reviews, giving me confidence to say: "This sci-fi suspense interactive story has been told well." Although the dev time ended up being three times my initial estimate, seeing this unique work come together in its complete form makes every struggle in the creative process worthwhile.   Hey everyone, I'm ash, the solo dev behind lantao studio. After eight months of work, my first game Escape Everlit is releasing a demo. The demo playtime is approximately 90-120 minutes, featuring the prologue and most content of the first level, 'Subway Station'. You can play as two of the four main characters. The demo is available on PC. It provides an overview of the story style and gameplay mechanics of Escape Everlit. This is the kind of narrative game best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
