About this game
You travel through time and space back to 1999 — the early, idyllic days of the Internet. But things aren’t quite as you remember. Rogue software, malicious installers — the kind of problems you thought belonged to the future — have already taken root in this fledgling digital world. The innocent users of the late 20th century are helpless against these threats, and all their hopes now rest on you — a seasoned veteran hardened by the dirty battlegrounds of the future Internet. ·Declaring war on malware Unscrupulous software developers will stop at nothing to bundle malware into their installers, hiding malicious options deep within seemingly harmless setup wizards. Uncover their tricks and reveal the true, clean installation paths to the world! · Gain Fame and Fortune Your reputation for dismantling malicious installers spreads quickly, and orders pour in from all corners of the Internet. Earn your fortune and rise as a leading figure in the fight against rogue software vendors of the era. · Create and Share Your Own Challenges The game fully supports Steam Workshop! Design your own “malware” installers, publish them to the community, and challenge other players with your devious creations.
