  • Devblog 17 - Shop content progress! - 1 July 2026

Hi everybody! Really great progress this month. We are back on shop content, because we got so far with fishing/biomes, the shop part of the game was falling behind - Beta players were running out of space for their fish collections and shelves, so it was a good sign to switch after the swamps biome was finished!I did a community vote on the discord, and it seems like overwhelmingly people were really wanting more upgrades of current mechanics, store expansions and employee systems. There was also a decent amount of votes on making decorating do something for the game.Already got the biggest task done - The second floor to the shop. This was tricky because the original shop was not meant for a floor, but I got it figured out!Huge relief that we got the employee NPC working! NPC coding is really difficult for me, so it's really nice to see it working and relatively bug-free. I hope this…

  • 7.4.0 - Shelf Stocker Employee Robot! - 27 June 2026

Hello fishers - I'd like to announce a huge breakthrough: I got a employee NPC working! It's not fancy, but glad we got it working! I'll now let people play/use it and see how it goes. New - Shelf Stocker Employee! You can buy this tech at shop level 7. We can rebalance this over time. The…

  • 7.3.0 - Freezers & Shop 2nd Floor & Shop Expansions - 25 June 2026

Hi folks! I'll now get us into the habit of posting updates here for the main branch of the game for people to see the game get built up more. If I patch the demo, I'll put that in brackets - Example: 7.3.0 (DEMO BRANCH)This is the first big series of patches for Alpha 7 - We are now focusing back on shop content/mechanics for this alpha since we got really far ahead with Biomes/Fishing now. (Unlocked at Shop level 7)New - Freezers now can have 'Employee Access' disabled, so they cant store fish inside (Or future shelf stockers can't tou…

  • Community Question - Should I post main game patch notes? (Non-Demo patches) - 25 June 2026

Hi folks! I just wanted to see what's the best way of keeping people engaged while I work on the game. Now that I'm working on the later game content, the demo won't get patched too often and focusing on the main build of the game. Do you prefer regular patch notes when I update the main build/engine of the game. This way you can see how stuff is coming along more regularly? Or do you prefer a once-a-month post showing you all the stuff that happened during the month? (I'll still do those at the end of the month) Let me know in the comments below, I might try to experiment with posting the patch notes more regularly and see if that's a better way to show people I am actively always working on the game! I've been making really good progress this week especially and think it's a maybe a shame people don't know. But maybe people don't want to be spoiled (Though they can just avoid reading…

Short description

Catch fish, build your store, and sell your catches! Explore a mysterious world to find new areas, and new fish to catch. Decorate to get wealthier customers to buy your big catches. As you build up your store, a town will evolve around you!

About this game

This is a fishing shopkeeper where you start off in a pile of rubble in this mysterious world, in the hopes of rebuilding and making a large successful shop and fish collection. As you sell fish and build up your personal collection, a town begins growing around you and begins to evolve and level up! The game is still in alpha development - I plan on posting updates on my steams news/update pages, Discord and Youtube! I'm a single developer making this while working full time, so this comes out of pure enjoyment of simulator and tycoon games. I also will emphasize that I'm going to be slow with progress at times because I need to manage my full time job and life as well. I won't promise a perfect or super polished game - But I can promise I'm passionate and want to make a fun game for people to enjoy. This is the first time I'm attempting at making my own full game so I appreciate the patience and support! Rare & Giga Catches In rare scenarios you'll get rare giga sized catches, as well as Holographic/Foils that are worth a lot of money (I'm a big fan of trading card games, so snuck in foils!); However they could also be really handy to make your store more attractive for customers, as display pieces. Collecting A part of the games mechanic is collecting and displaying some of your catches - Every unique fish on display improves your stores collection bonus. I want to have TONS of unique fish to find and catch in the future! One of the main gameplay themes of the game is to collect all the unique fish in the world! I will continue to keep adding in more types of fish into the game Grading Later on in the game, a grader NPC opens up shop where you can then begin getting your fish graded! This is heavily inspired by Trading Card Games where you get cards graded This can enhance OR decrease the value of the fish... depending on its quality Graded fish can be mounted on walls, and stacked on top of eachother on displays so you can amass a bigger collection in a smaller space Tech Tree Bait Risk Vs Reward: Bait will cost a upfront amount, but gives you a chance at catching better fish! Some bait will be for specific fish in regions, while other b…

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Sep 23, 2026 to Sep 23, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $0.00
  • Highest observed: $0.00

Fishing Shop Simulator's USD price history spans from Sep 23, 2026 to Sep 23, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $0.00, the highest is $0.00, and the first visible tracked price is $0.00. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 0
  • Discounted days: 0 days
  • Deepest markdown: No discount tracked
  • Latest sale window: No sale window tracked

Fishing Shop Simulator's tracked USD rows do not contain a discount window. This means no available snapshot in the stated coverage has usable discount metadata; it does not prove that the game was never discounted. Missing snapshots or archived rows without complete metadata can hide a sale, so SteamPulse does not infer pricing strategy from this absence.

If a later snapshot includes discount metadata, it will appear here with its recorded depth, price, date, and sale name when available. Until then, this section should be read only as a description of the available rows, not as evidence about the publisher's promotion policy.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00, from Sep 23, 2026 through Sep 23, 2026. Among rows without discount metadata, the longest unchanged run lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00. The latest run records $0.00 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking as the same recorded undiscounted price. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $0.00
  • Current list price: $0.00
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Fishing Shop Simulator at $0.00 in USD, with no active discount metadata. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
