  Hello Gamers,It is me, Charlie, I bring you news of the stuff I have done.Terrain has been complicated, it seems every time I go to work on it, I take 100 steps forward and 200 steps backward with it, I recently outsourced it to another guy, did an alright job, but I spent so long reviewing it and inspecting it between shifts at work that Fiverr's auto-thing finished the order before I could request a revision, I've since realised that the script definitely needed more than one revision, but like I said, the dude didn't do a bad job, he's actually pretty good, you can find him on Fiverr here. • Demo Depot-Removal - 14 April 2025

  Hello, Just letting you guys know, the package for the Demo (currently on Steam under the name Corkscrew Prototypes) is now empty, I have removed the depot containing the scam build I was sent by the Fiverr scammers. If I've done this correctly, then the Demo is not playable and is effectively delisted/in "pre-order", since there are no longer any game files in the package.

This isn’t a snap judgment—it’s the result of several factors I’ve been weighing, and I’d like to walk you through the main ones. Why I’m leaving Gamejolt behind The big reason is that I no longer have any respect for Gamejolt as a platform for publishing games and other software. They used to be amazing—indie gaming titans like BATIM and FNAF came from the platform—but with their push to make it into some sort of Bluesky-for-gamers, they’ve been making Gamejolt more like a social media platform than a software distribution platform. • Early Access - 20 March 2025

  So, this is the rundown: Corkscrew is releasing under early access. I've also signed the Cloud Gaming agreement on Steamworks, meaning Corkscrew can go on GeForce Now. Steam Cloud Saves and hopefully Achievements later on will come to the game. The Game's assets will also be added to the game with little modification before release during EA, so users can make suggestions to be used for better revisions before they are finalized. Early Access will last indefinitely, until the game is the best it could ever be. Cool, isnt it?

  Steam Next Message: Hi guys, the initial build for Steam Next fest is going to be a bit scuffed, I had outsourced development since I didn't have the time, and I had found out that they had essentially gutted my game, removed half of it's workings and whenever I asked them to add anything back or to just make the slightest change (we are talking just looping music in the scene or changing fonts of UI), I was greeted with a slurry of reasons on why it was "out of scope" and why what I had asked wasnt actually what I had asked, so I'm going to upload the initial build as a "Prototype" and restore it from there, since I don't want to be a no-show for Steam Next Fest and would rather show something than nothing, since the music and assets are still quite good imo.
