- Hotfix #6 - 16 October 2026
Major Fixes: Fixed a major issue that causing the game to crash for all players whenever the "Pack Leader" enemy type would spawn into the game world. We have temporarily disabled the "Pack Leader" enemy type from spawning into the game while we investigate the issue further. Fixed a bug that was preventing players from getting the second quest offered by the Catholic Priest NPC if the first time they talked to him was after the clock had reached midnight. Fixed a bug where the player would get stuck in a soft-lock, depending upon which ending conditions they had met, while speaking with the final NPC inside of the KageTeku Tower dungeon. Fixed a bug where players wouldn't be able to pick up the "dog" located inside the Higashi-Kagutaba Underground dungeon. Fixed a bug where players wouldn't be able to earn the "Dog Lover" achievement. Fixed a bug where players wouldn't be able to earn…
- Hotfix #5 - 15 October 2026
Major Fixes: Fixed a critical bug that was causing some players to not be assigned at least 50% of the abandoned homes that are part of the Police quest from being assigned to the player. Fixed a bug where Takeshi, who is one of the old people that you take care of, wasn't having his HP properly calculated during the "End of Hour" sequence. Fixed a bug where the "Demon's Fang" item wasn't working. The items "Omamori of the Bear" and "Omamori of the Pheasant" were sometimes not being properly applied to the player characters health and stamina when they entered into a new level. Minor Fixes: Fixed a bug where there was some invalid text on the People UI. Fixed a bug where pistols and shotguns purchased from the Yakuza would come loaded with 100 ammo instead of the correct number. Pistols now come loaded with 8 bullets and shotguns now come loaded with 6 shells when purchased from the Yak…
- Hotfix #4 - 15 October 2026
Major Fixes: Fixed a bug where the player would get locked out from the Senior Medical Facility if the first time they entered the level was after the clock had reached 22:15. Fixed a bug where the Nurse NPC inside the Senior Medical Facility had her dialog stuck in a loop. Fixed an issue where the player would get a large number of "Thought Notifications" at the end of every hour if they had started the Police quest. Fixed an issue where the "Civil Servant" achievement was not being granted to players. This fix is applied retroactively if you load into an existing save file where you've already completed the requirements for the achievement. Minor Fixes: Fixed an issue where when the player would eat potato chips, they would convert into the wrong type of trash item. Fixed an issue where "Canned Tuna" would not appear as a useable item for the "Quick Heal" action.
- Hotfix #3 - 14 October 2026
Major Fixes: Fixed multiple major bugs that were creating soft locks across the entire game. Dog Lady questline is now correctly being triggered and completed. Yakuza questline failure is now being triggered correctly. KageTeku Plaza, KageTeku Tower, and KageTeku Underground are now accessible to all players after reaching the correct point in the game. Access was not being granted due to a bug with the clock events not triggering correctly. Fixed multiple issues with the Prison level. Fixed an issue that was preventing a special monster from spawning during the course of the night. (This is connected to the Dog Lady questline) Fixed an issue that was preventing some players from seeing the two "bad" endings for the game. These are now both working as intended. Fixed an issue where the "Gig Worker" achievement was not always being granted to players correctly. Fixed an issue where the 1…
- Hotfix #2 - 14 October 2026
Major Fixes: Changed how auto-saves work. Auto-saves now exclusively re-use the same file and overwrites itself as the auto-save system is activated. This prevents auto-save from creating dozens of save files and the player losing game progress due to silently running out of save slots. Auto-saves have their own unique save file, separate from the 30 manual saves a player is currently allowed. This brings the total maximum saves to 31. Players are still limited to 30 manual save slots, with the 31st slot being exclusively utilized by the auto-save feature. Fixed an issue when using the "Quick Save" (which is bound to F5 by default, but can be changed in the input settings) would crash the game for some players. "Quick Save" now uses the same save slot as auto-save. If you have an auto-save file, using "Quick Save" will now overwrite it. Fixed issue where when a player would reach the ma…
- Hotfix #1 - 13 October 2026
Major Fixes: Fixed issue that was preventing players from turning in ID cards to the police station. Fixed issue where the player could use weapons in areas they shouldn't be allowed to use weapons. Fixed issue where players couldn't use weapons in area they should be allowed to use weapons. (This solves several major bottlenecks across multiple quests in the game.) Removed the "Work Authorization Letter" item from the game. The player no longer needs a "Work Authorization Letter" in order to enter the Senior Living Facility. (The reason for this fix is because we noticed that some players were dropping the item from their inventory, not realizing the signifcance of it.) Fixed issue where the player would get locked out from entering the Senior Living Facility if the first time they entered was after the clock reached 21:15. Fixed several issues with Traditional Chinese and Simplified C…
- Dev Log #2 - Release Date Announcement - 8 September 2026
The release date has finally been decided! We’re thrilled to announce publicly that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be released to the entire world on October 12, 2026. It’s been two years since we released Water Delivery on September 18, 2024. Water Delivery was our first “real game”. Before Water Delivery, as some of you are already aware, we spent nearly two years making small games in Fortnite. After Water Delivery was released, the very next day in fact, our team sat around a table and decided what our next game would be. It only took us a few hours to decide. None of us expected the game would take two years to make. Our hope is that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be unlike anything you’ve ever played before. While it takes inspiration from games such as Pathologic, Resident Evil, Bioshock and The Elder Scrolls - its unique mixture of dynamic horror and immersive sim game design come toget…

Game Overview: “Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is a J-horror RPG where events unfold in real-time. Survive eight hours in a city where every choice you make impacts the world around you. How many deaths will you be responsible for tonight?”' We call it a J-Horror RPG because we’re making a first-person horror game set in Tokyo with RPG systems. The game takes heavy inspiration from Pathologic 2 and The Elder Scrolls (III–V). Next, let’s discuss the b…

We didn't have this issue with Water Delivery, because the user-interface in that game was very simplistic and crude. With Den-Den: Tokyo Horror, we've set a much higher quality bar for ourselves as a studio, and we just want to ensure that people who play in…

- Dev Log #1 | DEN-DEN: TOKYO HORROR - 5 March 2025
Greetings! While the temperature may be hot in Cebu right now, fret not, for our hearts are as cold as the frozen throne which intombs them. Rainbows and butterflies don't make for good inspiration in the highly respected field of "Horror Game Development", or so they say. Today, I’d like to dive deeper and share more details with everyone regarding our upcoming game, Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. What is Den-Den: Tokyo Horror? If we were to remove the generalized “Horror” tag from our game, what would be left? The answer boils down into two specific (and equal) parts, Survival Horror and Immersive Sim. The term 'Immersive Sim' can mean a lot of different things to different types of gamers. Images conjured up in the mind can range from games such as Ultima Underworld to Bioshock. But there are also games such as Pathologic, which to many can be considered an Immersive Sim. Our goal with Den-D…
