  • Dev Log #2 - Release Date Announcement - 8 September 2026

The release date has finally been decided! We’re thrilled to announce publicly that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be released to the entire world on October 12, 2026. It’s been two years since we released Water Delivery on September 18, 2024. Water Delivery was our first “real game”. Before Water Delivery, as some of you are already aware, we spent nearly two years making small games in Fortnite. After Water Delivery was released, the very next day in fact, our team sat around a table and decided what our next game would be. It only took us a few hours to decide. None of us expected the game would take two years to make. Our hope is that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be unlike anything you’ve ever played before. While it takes inspiration from games such as Pathologic, Resident Evil, Bioshock and The Elder Scrolls - its unique mixture of dynamic horror and immersive sim game design come toget…

  • Dev Log #1 – What is Den-Den: Tokyo Horror & How Do You Play It? - 21 May 2026

For those who’ve followed us from the start: yes, this really is Dev Log #1. Our old series was premature, and we had no idea what we were making back then. A lot has changed. Today kicks off a regular dev log series running until the release of Den-Den: Tokyo Horror this summer (2026). Without further ado, let’s get started with today's information drop which will answer the following important question, “What is this game and how do you play it?”. Game Overview: “Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is a J-horror RPG where events unfold in real-time. Survive eight hours in a city where every choice you make impacts the world around you. How many deaths will you be responsible for tonight?”' We call it a J-Horror RPG because we’re making a first-person horror game set in Tokyo with RPG systems. The game takes heavy inspiration from Pathologic 2 and The Elder Scrolls (III–V). Next, let’s discuss the b…

Demo version 1.2.4 is now LIVE! Today we have made a small but important update to the game, which is the addition of new language translations! With this update, we've added Polish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Turkish, and Malay. Version 1.2.4 Patch Notes:Support for 7 new languages: Polish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Turkish, and Malay. What's coming next? Our next update will include translation for the following languages: Arabic We wanted to get Arabic in with this update since the translation is already completed, but our issue is that our current user-interface is not working as expected with Arabic. We didn't have this issue with Water Delivery, because the user-interface in that game was very simplistic and crude. With Den-Den: Tokyo Horror, we've set a much higher quality bar for ourselves as a studio, and we just want to ensure that people who play in…

We've been working on Den-Den ever since the release of Water Delivery last year. Without the support from all of you, none of what we've made up to this point would be possible. • Dev Log #1 | DEN-DEN: TOKYO HORROR - 5 March 2025

Greetings! While the temperature may be hot in Cebu right now, fret not, for our hearts are as cold as the frozen throne which intombs them. Rainbows and butterflies don't make for good inspiration in the highly respected field of "Horror Game Development", or so they say. Today, I’d like to dive deeper and share more details with everyone regarding our upcoming game, Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. What is Den-Den: Tokyo Horror? If we were to remove the generalized “Horror” tag from our game, what would be left? The answer boils down into two specific (and equal) parts, Survival Horror and Immersive Sim. The term 'Immersive Sim' can mean a lot of different things to different types of gamers. Images conjured up in the mind can range from games such as Ultima Underworld to Bioshock. But there are also games such as Pathologic, which to many can be considered an Immersive Sim. Our goal with Den-D…
