- Work on the new raid mode for Rapid Impact is actively ongoing. - 24 May 2026
At this point, it’s no longer just another update — it’s essentially a major rebuild of the game. The original version will mostly remain in terms of atmosphere and visual identity, while a huge portion of the gameplay systems is being redesigned from the ground up.The current focus is a large PvPvE raid location built around exploration, looting, progression, survival, and environmental storytelling. The first major milestone is planned around a 1x1 km map (possibly slightly larger), but this is only the beginning. Future updates will gradually expand the world with new connected regions and territories. The goal is not to create just another combat arena, but a world that actually feels interesting to explore — abandoned locations, hidden paths, dangerous zones, environmental storytelling, and places that reward curiosity. If optimization and server technology allow it, the long-term v…
- Winter Sale - 19 December 2025
Greetings, friends. It’s been a while since I last posted here, but there’s a good reason: a 90% discount during the Winter Sale. Everyone who wanted to try the project can now do so at the best possible price. As for the project itself, it’s not abandoned. Research is ongoing, new mechanics are being designed, and future updates are in development. Yes, I understand that many of you want something new as soon as possible. However, since the project doesn’t generate income for me yet and currently brings mostly expenses, I also have to handle other work alongside it.On top of that, I was waiting for high-quality updates to the core templates the project is built on, so I wouldn’t have to rework fundamental systems later. And yes, the project mostly moves at this pace because every update is something I quite literally give birth to and pass through myself. That’s because I want to delive…

- Server List Display Broken After UE 5.5 Update (SOLVED) - 1 July 2025
Breaking News! Just a few hours ago, I discovered a very unpleasant issue — the server list display is currently not working. This came as a complete surprise to me, as I haven’t touched any code related to that functionality. After updating to Unreal Engine version 5.5, the online subsystem stopped functioning correctly and no longer displays created sessions properly.Once again, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Epic Games for breaking something critically important in the engine with every new update.I’ve made a decision for myself — this will be the last engine version upgrade for this project. From now on, it will remain on version 5.5 for as long as technically possible. Version updates have started causing far too many problems.Right now, I’m working on fixing the issue with the server list display. In PvE mode, when you host your own server, everything works as expected.Stay tun…

- Rapid Impact Upgraded to UE5.5 – Performance, Weather, and Visuals Revamped - 21 June 2025
Hello everyone!I’m excited to introduce one of the biggest updates for Rapid Impact, focusing on atmosphere, visuals, and performance:Upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.5New and more efficient real-time day/night and weather system. Time of day and weather are now randomized for each match.Flashlight added (default key: L)Ultra-wide scalability settings – the game now offers a massive range of performance and quality options. Low-end GPUs can enjoy solid image quality and high FPS on the Low preset, while high-end cards will be pushed to their limits on Ultra, delivering stunning visuals for graphics enthusiasts. This scalability system took a lot of time to build. Epic Games has been slowly removing or breaking support for low-end optimization features in recent engine updates in favor of their “super mega ultra” tech. But as long as I can, I will continue to support a wide range of hardware s…

Fans of the can now quench their thirst. Here's a few more nighttime screenshots from the familiar location. Be ready to fight under any conditions.
- Atmospheric Upgrade: Dynamic Lighting & Weather System - 13 May 2025
Hi everyone. In this update, I decided to add dynamic changes in time of day and weather. Yes, FPS performance has dropped, but the world has become even more diverse, and the atmosphere has reached a new level. On my end, I’ve already done a lot to optimize performance for such fully dynamic lighting. In terms of visual quality vs. performance, the project is already ahead of many counterparts. Additionally, I’ve expanded the range of graphics settings so that the game can be adjusted to suit as many hardware configurations as possible. For now, players spawn in the world at a random time of day. Soon, I’ll add an option to choose which part of the day you'd like to spawn in, and I’ll also add a flashlight to make nighttime gameplay more convenient. At the same time, I’m working on the mechanics for gaining experience and in-game currency. In upcoming updates, you’ll be able to earn XP…

- Important Notice: Review Keys Blocked Due to Misuse - 25 April 2025
Friends, I've received information about attempts to sell game keys that were distributed to reviewers. All such keys have now been blocked, and from this point on, the distribution of review keys will be strictly limited for two reasons: - Attempts to sell them. - A low amount of content and reviews compared to the number of keys distributed. Anyone who wants to make a review or test the game can use the free playtest version or steam curator channel. In the future, I may create a separate demo version of the game for this purpose, if necessary. Addition from April 26: - Only the keys that were specifically distributed for reviewers for free to review the game have been revoked. - This does not affect anyone who purchased the game through the Steam store. - If you bought the game from a third-party marketplace and received a notification that your key was revoked, it means scammers sol…
- Free playtest starts now - 25 April 2025
Hi friends! I've launched a temporary open and free playtest for anyone who wants to try the game. Now you have the opportunity to test the product without having to buy it. For now, I plan for the playtest to be active throughout the weekend. However, if I see interest and a large number of players, I might extend it for a longer period.
- Update from April 24, 2025 - 24 April 2025
- A small update to the AI bots that fixes some behavior bugs. P.S. Why am I spending so much time working on bots instead of adding new features to the game? Since the player count is still relatively low, I want the bots to act as filler in the game world, and I want their behavior to closely mimic that of real players. Over time, as the number of online players grows, I’ll reduce the number of bots in the game - or remove them entirely, leaving them as an optional feature. P.P.S. I’m now starting work on the experience and in-game currency system, which will allow players to upgrade different weapon branches and unlock new guns and upgrades. This will include a weapon progression tree and an in-game shop. As a reference, I’ll be using the system from World of Tanks for now.

- Leave a Review – Shape the Future - 16 April 2025
Hi friends. This message is for those who have purchased my game. If you enjoyed the project even a little and see potential in it, please consider leaving a review on the game's store page. Let others know what you liked, what you didn't, and what you'd like to see in future updates. This would greatly help with the game's visibility and attracting new players. The more people we have online on the servers, the more fun it gets. Thank you for your support and belief in the project.
- Post-Release Thoughts and Reflections - 16 April 2025
Hello friends. The first weekend after release has passed, and I want to share some thoughts with you. First of all, thank you for showing interest in my project. I can see it in the massive increase in wishlists - tens of times more than before. I’ve also noticed a huge spike in traffic to the game’s page. Secondly, I read all your feedback, and I always try to respond first to those who left negative reviews - because I take it personally. Yes, maybe some people were hoping to see a multiplayer version of STALKER 2, 90% complete, packed with weapons and maps, bug-free and perfectly polished. Or maybe someone expected this to be my answer to Escape from Tarkov... But in the release post, I believe I honestly and objectively described the current state of the game and what it really is. You might ask - why release it in this state, and what’s the point? The main idea was to give you the…
