In 499 BC, you are hunted by your own people. Rasna is a single-player, story-driven historical open-world game presented as a “Historically Accurate Etruscan Tale”. This means it strives for meticulous historical accuracy while immersing the player in a world rich with mysterious places, magical creatures, and ancient mythology. Rasna is designed for players who love story-driven experiences, historical settings, and meaningful choices. The player assumes the role of Velia, a young woman and daughter of the Lucumon (king) of the Etruscan city of Manthura. At the beginning of the game, something terrible happens and Velia becomes an outcast, hunted by her own fellow citizens. Choices have consequences. The game can end prematurely in 14 different ways, or reach the story’s conclusion through three distinct endings. Dialogues require continuous player interaction and offer numerous choices. This makes it impossible to tell which decisions will truly affect the story, and which simply help define the personality you wish to give the protagonist. To improve immersion, side quests are fully woven into the main one and are intentionally indistinguishable from it. Choices made during these missions can directly influence the outcome of the story. Each character Velia encounters has a personal backstory, adding depth and richness to the narrative.
