Fixed an issue with the Shardglass Thorn respawning once used if the Faerie portal ritual hasn't been completed. Also added a check to keep the player from using too much Void Essence on the altar during the ceremony process and wasting the essences.Increased the size of the interaction area on the pillar puzzle in the Crypts to make it easier to place the 4 stone reliefs in their stone holders.

Modified the quest logs for the Crimson Conspiracy questline to clarify that you need to find a second piece of evidence about who is behind the plot if you've only found one. Previously the quest log would simply say you should 'continue investigating'. This way the player isn't waiting for Dervin to continue the questline when there is still a second piece of evidence to find. Fixed the issue where when asking Balnor questions about some other people, at certain points in various questlines the script called Robyn to be the speaker instead of Balnor. Selling Ornate Leather Armor will now give 1g 30s instead of 130g. Fixed the issue where returning from battle on some screens at Late Afternoon would overlay the removed red sunset graphical tint to the screen. Missed one item in v1.08, and adding it as a quick addendum: In the large outdoor-looking area of the Echo Vault, the level up image was turning invisible instead of being removed, which was causing a blocking to the pathway.

Fixed an issue when returning from battle in one of the cave scenes where it would place the player in a non-walkable area. Adjusted the image of the bag in the initial sewer tutorial level to be more in-line with the graphics on the screen (more pixelated). Fixed the battle entry on the tutorial section so that the initial slime corpse doesn't spawn a split second before the fight starts. This was a side effect of the changes made in an earlier patch that I forgot to modify in this tutorial section since it doesn't use the same script as the rest of the game for battles. Changed the default cursor when on the Jobs board in the Crimson Shield to be the look / eye cursor.

Fixed a placement issue on the screen immediately to the right of the farm. When returning from battle, it would place the player in a non-walkable area, making them unable to move. Fixed a typo in the Inn.

Quick emergency patch to v1.07 to resolve issue with the game being in a paused state when game saves are made now that the main menu pauses the game. That was being passed into the save state. Removed that functionality to saves and restores work properly.

Fixed a bug where if you pressed Escape on the Game Stats screen, it would not close the menu. Fixed a bug when breaking into the house by Richard's in the Town Square by using the Open spell instead of lockpicking, it would put the player in a place that is non-walkable, effecting scale and maneuverability. Fixed a typo in the house by Richard's in Town Square. The book on the table now, if read, will report that it improved your Agility by 5, instead of Agiligy. Corrected a bug where using escape to open the control panel would not pause the game, but using the button on the top taskbar would. Now the game, day/time counter and all activity pauses completely when the control panel is visible.

Fixed a glitch in the selling of the Void Essences that had to do with the incorrect initial amount being allocated when turning in the initial goop from the sewer to Gregor. The player can no longer sell more void essences to Gregor than they have and go into the negative amount. Fixed an issue where drinking a phoenix potion direct from your inventory would not reduce total number owned by 1, allowing infinite uses. It now calculates properly. Fixed a typo in the description of the Loop of Blade Dancing. Changed the Forums link in the settings to the Steam discussion forum, as it seems to be the primary place of discourse for game content.

Fixed a bug with the time passage where the time was not rolling properly from Pre-Dawn Hours to Morning. Now if the player stays awake all night, the day will properly roll into the next day in the morning hour. Fixed a bug in the Silent Key quest for the Shaded Sigil. When breaking into Gregor's bedroom the chest is now able to be opened with a lockpick or the open spell. Fixed a bug where you could complete all quests in the Warrior's Guild beginning with the Cracks in the Barrier quest without actually completing the mission requirements if you experience a particular scenario in the forest with a void roach battle. Fixed an issue where sometimes the player would not properly change to the town gate room with the Arcane Codex when walking behind the Inn to go towards the General Store and Arcane Codex. - Addendum to patch 1.04 - 20 January 2026
Quick incidental patch, resolving a crash issue in the Arcane Codex where opening one of the chests causes a crash error if you receive the rare loot with additional coins, as I referenced a string variable instead of the integer in the code. It now rewards the funds appropriately.

Patched a scaling issue where the player might become very large if they walk into a specific area in some of the forest screens. Fixed a crash bug while on The Silent Key quest for the Shaded Sigil. Now when you break into Gregor's room and don't steal the key, and then leave, the next time you arrive outside the game won't crash. You also cannot ask Robyn to help boost you to the window unless you're outside Gregor's house at night any longer. Fixed a bug where if sneaking, the player's energy would continue to drop if they were moving somewhere when they opened the a GUI menu that paused the game, such as their stats or Inventory screen. This could be problematic if currently breaking into somewhere, and the player paused the game for some reason and returns to see they are out of energy and their stealth breaks.

Released a new quick patch that does two things. 1 - Saved games from previous versions are now available again for playing. v1.02 accidentally moved the save game location. It is moved back. 2 - Defaulted the game to start in full-screen mode instead of windowed for those who haven't reconfigured the startup settings or used Alt Enter to change to full screen mode.

Added a half second delay on room load scripts to ensure code finishes executing. Addressed issue where the game could sometimes crash while opening the middle chest in the Arcane Codex. Addressed the issue where sometimes the shop GUI would crash the game due to blocking queued animations from happening. Addressed one minor issue to clarify something in the tutorial stage, and fixed one game-crashing bug: On the tutorial locked gate, when the use action is performed, added a textbox to let mages know they can use a spell to open the gate, and a thief know they can pick the lock. Fixed a crash bug when the animation of the blacksmith beginning to hammer again at the same time the user tries to open the shop screen. The animation no longer blocks the engine GUI loading.
