Major Update - Leviathan Depths New World: Leviathan Depths - A fishing-focused dimension where the ocean is your primary source of income. Farm plots are scarce, so you'll need to rely on your rod to make ends meet. But beware - the waters are home to an ancient leviathan. Overfish and you'll anger the beast. First it will attack your lines, then it will turn its fury on your land itself, flooding and destroying entire plots. Balance your greed with caution, and keep your farm intact. Each chest has 20 slots and can be used in both Home and Run Mode. Crafted with 20 Wood and 1 Iron. Iron Fence: New decoration added. Improvements Fish Persistence: Fish now persist in your inventory between runs and carry over to your Home Farm - no more losing your catch! Updated Water Visuals: Water style and animation have been updated to feel more alive now that fishing is in the game. Fishing Accessibility: Added the ability to use SPACE or ENTER to progress the fish catching bar for players who struggle with clicking. Crossroads Farming Company - Patch Notes January 21st, 2026 Development Update Moving to weekly updates instead of daily going forward. Bug fixes will still be pushed as required between major patches. Major Update - Fishing Fishing Has Arrived! Farmers now have an additional activity to keep busy while waiting for crops to grow. Cast a line and earn some extra money in between harvests. Fishing is a solid early game money-maker, and can even outpace farming until you scale up your farm or build a strong deck in Run Mode. 6 fish currently available, with varying rarity and value. Crossroads Farming Company - Patch Notes January 5th, 2026 Happy New Year, farmers! Hope you all had a great break. Back into it with a bug fix patch to kick off 2026. Bug Fixes Fixed item duplication exploit when starting a sale and moving items to a new inventory location. Fixed depleted soil shaders and textures not displaying correctly (was showing standard dirt texture). Fixed quest soft-lock: Players can no longer delete the starter house on the Home Farm. Fixed pause time button displaying incorrectly after pressing ESC to unpause the game. Fixed utilities not working correctly in Run Mode after the grass plot update (utility ID check and plot type were failing). Fixed being able to close the inventory panel in shop/crafting screens, which was re-enabling farm interaction and causing accidental destruction. Campfire Decoration: A brighter light source perfect for early game. Crafted with Wood. New Features Ambient Sounds: Utilities and decorations now have sound effects that play when the player is nearby. More sounds coming in future builds. Quest Tracker Auto-Expand: The quest tracker now automatically expands to show newly tracked quests when accepted. Changes Home Farm Starting Loadout: Starting items have been simplified. Trees within a 10 plot radius receive a 100% harvest bonus. White Picket Fence: New decoration added. Stone Path: New decoration added. Improvements Performance Optimisation: Updated grass model rendering to reduce performance impact when grass is outside the playable area. Home Farm Tree Cap: Naturally grown trees on the home farm are now capped at 1800 to maintain performance and reduce constant farm maintenance. Buildings work like utilities but occupy a 3x3 area instead of a single plot. House Building: The first building has been added. Currently decorative, but functionality is coming in upcoming patches alongside other buildings such as the blacksmith, lumberjack, and more. Terrain Flattener Tool: A new tool that flattens terrain in a 3x3 area. The flattened terrain persists even after the tool is removed. Reset to original height via right click -> clear plot. Workbenches, furnaces, and other crafting stations now show only their relevant recipes, making it easier to find what you need. Updated Recipe Descriptions: Cleaned up legacy recipe text that previously displayed utility requirements inline. This information is now shown separately in the crafting UI for better clarity. Quality of Life Utilities on Grass: You can now place crafting utilities on grass tiles for more flexible farm layouts and aesthetic arrangements.
