  A few more questions have piled up. And while I’m drawing sprites, in between, I can answer some questions.“What’s your favorite room? 😉”“The storage room”! It’s in the demo version. It’s a wonderful place with tons of different objects you can interact with!“What was the hardest part about making the demo?”Oooh!.. Probably putting the individual scenes together so everything felt like a cohesive game. And also the save system. It was horribly hard!“Does the game have a story, or is it more of an atmospheric experience?”The game has a small story. About imagination and restlessness. About care and attentiveness. And overall, about different feelings.

  Shall we continue? 🙂“Are all objects in the game drawn by hand?”Yes — every object and sprite is drawn by me. It’s hard, because the objects on each level are unique, and there are almost none that repeat.“How do you come up with Easter eggs for the levels?”Haha! I love making different Easter eggs. They all revolve around what’s valuable to me and what I like.“Will there be hints in the game if I can’t find something 😔🫠?”The game has a hint system. It’s not very obvious. If you find the minimum number of watermelons in a level (the easiest ones to find), you can press the “Next” >> button. Stickers of the watermelons and their toys that are present in the level will appear on the screen. Filled stickers are the ones you’ve already found. Empty stickers — the ones where you only see a silhouette — give you a hint about where to look.There’s no explanation of this mechanic in the demo…

  While I’m working on a new level, I decided to answer a few questions about development 🎮“How long does it take to create one level?”Honestly, this question is a bit difficult for me — that’s why I decided to start with it.Before I reached out to a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist for help, work was going very slowly. I could spend a whole month drawing just 2–3 sprites. Now, on average, I make 1 level per week. It all depends on how complex the level itself is from a gameplay perspective.“Which level was the hardest to develop?”Probably the first one, because I was getting used to isometric drawing. Also, a very difficult level I’m working on right now is “Laundry Room”.
