Steam Store description

You're a hacker with a terminal, four terrible scripts, and an anonymous contact who needs files from places they really shouldn't be. The scripts were free, and you can tell. Your port scanner checks all 65,535 ports, which is thorough and also going to take longer than you have patience for. Your password cracker just brute-forces everything and wakes up the intrusion detection system doing it. Both will technically get the job done, the way a spoon will technically dig a tunnel. So you rewrite them, and the new probe only checks common ports and finishes in seconds, while the new cracker skips guessing entirely and reads the admin's own password hints straight off the filesystem. Nobody told you to fix these - you just got tired of using tools this bad. That's Blackdoor - you write the code, the code hacks the servers, and better code hacks them faster, quieter, and before the trace catches up. Not a hacking-themed clicker. An actual terminal. There are no buttons, no "press X to hack", no minigames where you rotate pipes or match symbols. You sit at a command line with tab completion, a built-in code editor, and the full set of commands you'd expect - and you write scripts in a custom Python-like language that was built to be fun to learn and satisfying to master. Every script executes line by line, so you see exactly where it works, where it breaks, and how much faster it gets once you're the one who rewrote it. If you've never programmed before, it's more sink-or-swim than a tutorial - you're straight into scripts that already work but could work better, picking…

Game FAQ

Real questions answered from SteamPulse data, including live players, monthly momentum, review sentiment, regional audience signals, Twitch activity, and current Steam pricing.

What is the latest observed Steam activity for Blackdoor?

Blackdoor has not launched yet, so SteamPulse intentionally avoids pretending there is live player activity. Pre-release coverage focuses on release timing and available public follower or reviewer data, while region and wishlist models are labeled as directional estimates rather than activity or intent.

Is Blackdoor growing or declining recently?

Blackdoor has not launched yet, so SteamPulse does not calculate player growth or decline percentages from live concurrency. Before release, SteamPulse reports official launch updates and any observed public follower or reviewer data; region and wishlist models remain directional estimates rather than measured activity.

What country-level audience data is available for Blackdoor?

In the observed sample of public reviewer profiles with a visible country, the leading shares are United States (28.6%), Ukraine (14.3%), Croatia (14.3%). The separate directional player-region model assigns its leading shares to United States (23%), Germany (10.7%), France (10.5%). The directional follower-region model assigns its leading shares to United States (26.7%), Germany (11.2%), France (10.9%). The directional wishlist-region model assigns its leading shares to United States (21.7%), Germany (9.4%), China (9.1%). Only the reviewer view is based on observed public profile countries; the other percentages are modeled relative weights, not verified account locations or country-level user counts.

What does the Steam review footprint look like for Blackdoor?

SteamPulse does not currently have a meaningful Steam review total for Blackdoor. When review volume appears, this answer will summarize the positive share, raw review counts, and the current Steam review label.

How much follower and Twitch attention does Blackdoor have?

SteamPulse is not treating the current Twitch number as authoritative because the Twitch category for this app is not resolved yet or the Twitch API credentials are unavailable.

What is the current Steam price for Blackdoor?

Blackdoor is currently listed at $12.99 on Steam. SteamPulse uses the current store snapshot and historical price records to show whether the page is at full price or in a discounted window.
