Public lobby multiplayer numbers aren't where I would like them to be and one of the most common comments received about the game is that people often can't find random open lobbies to join. So to try and alleviate this, the decision has been made to make the game free to play sometime in the coming month. I believe that's the best direction to take the game going forward.What this means for youThe game won't suddenly see excessive monetization. The deal you bought into is still the deal going forward. Poker (single and multiplayer) will remain free to play.All new (non-poker) card games will be playable for all in single player mode. Adding a few casual games seems like the next logical move for Hold'em Fold'em Poker. So first on the list is the classic game of Cheat! Simple rules and fun for a quick game with your friends.The initial plan is to give everyone the ability to play this mode solo but to play multiplayer, the Host needs to own a copy of the Cheat Multiplayer DLC. Everyone else who connects can join with just the base game. We'll monitor player feedback on this model and will adjust if necessary. At the bottom of the customization window is where you'll find instructions on authoring contents in the 'Content Folder' link and there is a 'Workshop' button right next to this. As part of our Early Access promise, full customization is now fully polished in the dev branch and will soon be pushed to you guys.. but more than that, Steam Workshop integration is being worked on too so you can download and share your creations with other players. This patch brings in the first pass of translation for the game. Full disclosure: machine learning was used to aid in the generation of non English languages. Community feedback will be monitored and corrections to translations are more than welcome. You can change the game's language in the settings menu. Added knockout effects when a player goes bust. Sound effects will be refined before release.
