Germ Wars REMASTERED is now ready! Here are the changes from the old version of Germ Wars: Germ Wars is completely remade in the new engine! Massive performance optimization: -The game is now only ~20MB instead of the previous ~80MB -Significant improvement in RAM usage, the game now uses about 5 times less RAM than before Bug fixes -Fixed lots of random crashes in-game -Fixed the frequent controls menu crash -Enemies now do not disappear when fully zoomed out Upgrade menu -Improved the upgrade menu -Changed some perks for a more balanced and fun gameplay Balance -Damage to enemies and player are now less random and properly based on speed and damage upgrade Options -Fullscreen and Windowed options -Added additional options to display enemy hp bars, player hp bar and damage points Steam Cloud support! Edit: Old saves do not work with this version, unfortunately.

It's been a while since the release of this game, it was my first big project and I've since learned quite a few things regarding game development, and I've switched to a new engine. The current build still has many bugs and crashes that shouldn't be there. Good news! Germ Wars has just been updated with two major features: Partial controller support - you can now control your White Blood Cell with your usb controller. The controls can be mapped in the Controls Menu. German language localization - you can change between English and German in the Options menu. Steam Achievements have also been localized, and Store page will be localized soon as well. Minor changes: *Health perk 2 attachment is not on top now, so all other attachments will not be hidden anymore when selecting that perk *minor bug fixes Have fun! ːvirus_happyː
