- Build #828g Texas road and business fixes - 17 November 2021
I have managed to get the L2 development environment going again, so have created a few patches to allow players to finalise the Texas and Vampires modules. This patch includes fixes to assign the missing roads to contracts to enable fixing. Also a few of the businesses were in one-way streets or on disjointed roads. Hope you enjoy getting to the end of these for 100%. Sacada.

- LOGistICAL Update #827j - 21 February 2020
Clusters When zoomed out within a LOGistICAL game there are lots of town and business icons to see and find. Clusters gives you a better summarised version of all those towns and businesses. A cluster's number indicate the number of towns that have been found A "+" after the number indicates that there is some unfound towns and/or businesses within the area. Clusters start out as black icons. Green ones contain industries. A ring will slowly appear around the cluster to indicate the percentage of towns/businesses complete. The size of the cluster is proportional to the amount of towns to do. The brightness of the number indicated the population of the area (brighter indicates larger/harder) Mouse-over a cluster to see the list of towns and businesses. Towns are written in "Grey" and businesses in "Blue". Also population and industries are displayed. The cluster's current town or busines…
- LOGistICAL Build #827e - 17 February 2020
There have been a few updates over the past few days. Here is why. Most of these latest builds are focused on optimising code, L2 and also the upcoming LOGistICAL 3: Earth release. All releases get the benefits of these updates. Truck speed vs Game speed One of the main optimisation updates includes a new process for moving the trucks at high game speed multipliers. Explanation: The old method multiplies the truck's moving distance with the game multiplier and moves forward in one step. If it reaches a node (where 3 or more roads meet) it stops and truncates that move. In L1 this hasn't been a problem. You may lose a tiny fraction of distance traveled as there are many node junctions. With L2 there are many node junctions, so these missed travel distance add up over an entire trip. This new method now only moves the truck its truck speed distance, but it loops it as many times as the ga…
- LOGistICAL 2: Sweden release (plus updates and sale) - 31 January 2020
LOGistICAL 2: Sweden LOGistICAL 2: Sweden is now available to play. LOGistICAL 2: Sweden is a DLC of LOGistICAL 2 and includes its own achievements. Conquering Sweden involves slowly building up your truck's garage. You are limited to the number of trucks you can fit in your garage, but you can increase your truck's garage size by completing more towns. Areas are locked off by broken roads, so finding industries to fix those will expand your map. Iron Ore is a critical resource for getting a lot of industries going. It may be hard to find, but you will find it where it should be on the LOGistICAL map (try an internet search). Sweden is available for 30% off for the first week of release (an additional 20% of you buy it as part of the "LOGistICAL 2: The Lot" bundle) LOGistICAL 2: Achievements LOGistICAL 2 has is now an unrestricted game and so all the Steam achievements for the DLCs are…
- LOGistICAL 2 Achievements and Sale - 28 January 2020
LOGistICAL 2 Achievements A short while ago there was an inundation of simple games on Steam that awarded lots of achievements just for starting the game. These are often known as "spam" games. All new Steam games now go through a process to determine if the game is a "spam" game or not. This process restricts the game so it isn't counted towards your library totals and the amount of achievements are limited to 100. Steam have a secret automatic process that checks each restricted game until it meets their criteria. Once this is met the restrictions are lifted. I have been working hard with the moderators to get LOGistICAL recognised as a "legitimate" game, including writing to Steam. Writing does not help. It must meet the criteria. LOGistICAL 2 has finally met Steam's criteria and all restrictions have been lifted. What does this mean for the LOGistICAL players? LOGistICAL 2 and all t…
