August 2026 Patch Notes + MCM Birmingham Expo — Because We're Here - Act I Steam update #1318245

Hello! Another smallish update to Acts I and II. Changes are as follows:Act I Version 1.6 - August 3rd 2026- Rewrote a good few textboxes for clarity and flow- Replaced most of the ingame header graphics (i.e. 'Act I', 'Six Months Later')- Replaced the Battle of Wits and Route Choice UI graphics- Added an additional dialogue choice to Gottfried's second scene (inc. a potential additional affection point)- Fixed a very embarrassing error in which the answer to a Battle of Wits question is casually given to you very shortly before the question is asked (how did that survive... a million editing passes...)- Changed most of the scene transitions to make the music start a little more naturally- Made slight adjustments to some SFX levelsAct II Version 1.5 - August 3rd 2026- Rewrote some textboxes for clarity and flow- Replaced most of the ingame header graphics (i.e. 'Act I', 'Six Months Later...
