Version Update 240123 / The actually final demo update! — Versebound Steam update #1346825

So, the earlier patch (version 240116) was supposed to be the final update for the first demo of Versebound. But, to borrow and make our own version of a classic proverb: Balance.. Balance never changes. All this of course means that we weren’t happy enough with the balance changes introduced in the last update. The idea was to make the game more accessible for a larger audience, not only for the hardcore gamers. However, we might’ve made the game a bit too easy. To crack this case, we decided to try out a feature we’ve had in mind for the future updates of Versebound: Trials! Trials are difficulty modifiers that fundamentally change the gameplay, giving players unique challenges that spice up the gaming experience.
