Version 1.2 – new mage ability & bot — Manahex Steam update #284232

The new version of Manahex has two major features: A new mage ability All mages now have an ability called "Redeem", which lets you discard a card to draw a new one. This also costs an action, so you can't do it on the same turn that you're taking control of a hex. The idea with the ability is that it lets you put more narrow "silver bullet" cards into your deck without taking to much of a risk. If the card isn't good in the particular matchup you're playing, just throw it away and get a new one. The ability also gives you something productive to do if you're locked out of new hexes to control. In general I hope it will increase the strategic depth of the game even more.
