Demo 1.2 Update: New Save System! — Herald of the Mists Steam update #305304

Hey everyone, I’ve received a lot of great suggestions for the game, and many of them were about the save system—something I had been wanting to refine as well. Previously, the game allowed you to save almost anytime, but I realized this didn’t really serve the core experience I wanted to create. To introduce more layers of risk management, I’ve made some changes. From now on, there are three ways to save your progress: Manual Save: Requires one *Ink Bottle*. You start with five and can buy more for four coins each. Resting: Save by setting up camp or staying at an inn. Prayer: Save by praying at an altar of the Ascendent or the Queen.
