Patch 0.18 - Gamepad / Early Steamdeck Support — Homebound: New Beginnings Steam update #537070

Patch 0.18 brings Gamepad support utilizing Xbox Iconography, at this stage Steam Deck may be functional but is yet to be optimized. Potential issues on SteamDeck may occur in relation to the resolution of items appearing offscreen but this is looking to be fixed in the coming day with a follow-up patch. New Systems - Supporting Gamepad Controls from Launch to Gameplay - Gamepad Support can be changed during gameplay but may lead to mismatched icons if altered too often, the underlying bindings will still work as intended but visually some disconnect may be seen under these conditions. Bindings are in early development and open to suggestions on improvements. The idea long term is to enable rebinding of primary inputs, but this falls after the Save System and some upcoming content in terms of priorities for now.
