The abrupt nature of your game ending due to teleporter destruction seemed too much even in the demo, and would be worse thousands of turns into a full campaign. So, monsters can no longer attack teleporters, and there's no longer a hard scenario loss condition. Instead, depending on player build and choices, monsters may start out-leveling your base, and become harder and harder to defeat, leading possibly to a "soft" loss, in which the player decides winning has become impossible, and starts a new run. I may also consider adding a hardcore mode, in which you can not only lose due to teleporter destruction, but you can add bonus levels to monsters. :) Note that this update will break savegames. It also allows teleporters to attack, so if monsters start to spawn camp, they'll get hit. :)
