  • Update 2.2.4 Released. Core economy UI overhauled. Portraits and Emojis added. - 21 June 2026

The goal of this update was to improve core UI to be cleaner, easier to tell what you're looking at, and better organized.Corp Stats Before:Corp Stats After:Similar overhaul on the planet stats screen for worker counts, and icons added on the resource incomes. The new worker icons are clickable to bring up a guide telling you what they are: Setting income to hidden now hides all but the basic corp info in the left panel, corp name, portrait, level, title, alliance. In case you don't want people to see your stats when they click view profile.Portraits can be chosen by clicking the portrait on the corp stats screen.Emojis will now automatically replace keyboard smileys like :) and some emojis entered via phone keyboard should work.

  • Update 2.2.2 Released! Steam Achievements and Titles with Several Ranks Added - 18 May 2026

  • Update 2.2.1 - Reset except Starter system, Andromeda made PvE, Economy overhaul - 13 May 2026

The server has been reset back to just starter systems. This should be the last reset, so it's probably the last chance to play on a fresh server with a mostly even playing field. Big changes this time around: A PvE space for players -Andromeda is completely PvE now, so people can expand outside the starter system without worrying about having their stuff destroyed by players.Milky Way remains open PvP and fleet battles vs players now give the winner one of the destroyed ship's modules, so there are some stakes. Planet Marketplace -The Credit economy system has been overhauled to make producing consumables and selling them to workers and tourists more of a vital part of the game, and contribute to a "Planet Marketplace" level. Providing services like medical facilities and comms satellites contributes to it too. What this means in practice is if you provide all the consumable types, you c…

  • Update 2.0.0 Released! 3D Land battles + PvP rebalancing + Fresh Start. - 1 August 2025

Land Battles OverhaulThe 3D land battles update mentioned in the previous annoucement is finished and live. I'm going to copy a lot of the stuff from the last announcement and put it here plus any additional changes made since that post.Fresh Start + Final SeasonAlong with the land battle improvements, this update comes with a fresh start for the server, which is something it seems at least half the playerbase wants. (And the land units are changed in a way that busts everyone's ground defenses.)PvP Balance ChangesStar Movement Freedom:Starmap level FTL blocking seems a bit overpowered, allowing one person to wall off an entire section of space for themselves. (Which is how it was intended to work)With the goal of removing stuff that makes it easy for large corporations to snowball, and reduce the need for seasons to level the playing field again,Overclocking FTL disruptors to block sta…

  • Next Update: Land Battles Overhaul + Fresh Start + Final Season + Beta - 20 July 2025

Land Battles OverhaulThe next major update changes land battles from entirely 2D UI based to 3D with land units that can rank up and be built out with modules like ships. This update is continuing along the lines of trying to improve the things players say are the weakest links in the game. (With the last update being highly requested 3D buildings instead of 2D icons.) Fresh Start + Final SeasonAlong with the land battle improvements, this update will ultimately come with a fresh start for the server, which is something it seems at least half the playerbase wants. (And the land units are changed in a way that busts everyone's ground defenses.)What this means: The game was supposed to be seasonal with really long "seasons", that's why it said "Welcome to Andromeda Season 2" when you login. The idea was to give everyone a fresh start once things start stagnating (Which could take years), an…

  • Update 1.3.2 Released - 1 June 2025

New backend system for loading assets implemented for loading 3D buildings to hopefully reduce RAM use to help people with low end devices. Defenses and invade screen not working with 2D buildings enabled fixed. Empty sector "slabs" are now hidden unless the planet stats / sector stats screen is open. Performance pass over textures, Materials and LODs. Clicking a sector slot on the planets owned screen now move camera to the sector. Citadel damage lowered from 10x to 5x; Lights on lots of 3D buildings adjusted. Bugs with sectors fixed. Bug where clicking a planet slot with the "My Corp" screen open didn't close the MyCorp screen or remove the ship interior fixed. Bug fixed where opening the Dump Resources screen would unhide the planet behind the menu and it was occasionally possible for it to receive clicks through the UI and open other screens.

  • Andromeda 2025 Revamp - 30 May 2025

The game has proper 3D now with 3D cityscapes that stick out from the surface of planets instead of 2D icons. The cityscapes or Sectors as they are called in-game have 4 different growth stages from Tier 1: All the way to Tier 4: The 3D revamp includes orbital structures as well: It's also possible to switch back to the old 2D icons by disabling 3D buildings in settings if you prefer the old style. The sector stats screen was updated from being fullscreen to having the middle open so you can see skyscrapers be added when you upgrade a sector. The 3d buildings being added required quite a bit of optimizations to get keep the game running smoothly even on phones, tablets, and low end PCs, so behind the scenes this update comes with new culling tech to hide meshes and lightsources behind other objects, and handle LODs in an intelligent way that Unity doesn't do well out of the box. A "Shop…

  • Update 1.2.6 Released - 14 May 2025

Changes: Game Engine updated to latest LTS release. (Unity 2022.3) Star visuals improved significantly. Planet ring visuals improved. On Android this engine update fixed a crash on launch issue with new devices. I plan on putting some development time into Andromeda, so I'm getting this update out to make sure there are no hidden issues with the engine update before making more changes.

  • Update 1.1.8 Released - 13 June 2022

Andromeda starmap white square fixed. Reflection Quality dropdown added in settings with 6 settings from "Off" to "Very High" (2048x2048). Reflection performance improved by making it use one reflection probe and passing it around, using half the RAM. Citadel radar disk not receiving light fixed. Earth being white fixed.

  • Update 1.1.7 Released - 12 June 2022

This update is mainly to fix bugs from the engine upgrade. Some of these might already have been listed in the "Quick fix" patch that was only released on Steam. Crashing caused by engine upgrade fixed. (hopefully) Sleazy Steve's shop not showing prices fixed. Some objects rendering blue fixed. Baked shadows on ship interior being messed up fixed. Missiles and other misc. shaders improved. Stellar Rep EXP fixed. Fixed the resource trackers on the bottom to display how much was earned offline. Reflections on ships adjusted. Planet Destruction and Creation lowered to 5 minutes in starter. Null reference exception when attempting to increase the level of a leader without a planet selected fixed. Performance improved significantly by disabling shadows that somehow got enabled from the engine update in the last build. It looks the same with and without shadows since you never really see shad…

  • Client Modified to fix a crash at logout - 5 June 2022

Quick fix for crash upon logout, sleazy steve UI bug fixed, and a few other small fixes.

  • Update 1.1.6 Released - Engine Update - 27 May 2022

This Update mostly updates the game engine to the latest version and hopefully fixes all the stuff that broke during the update. The goal with the engine update was to fix UI scrolling offscreen on some devices, but I'm sure it includes lots of other improvements on the engine side. Other changes: Advanced Detectors changed from finding Ore on all slots on a planet to: Slots with Mines refill Ore. Slots with Quarries refill Quartz. Slots with Gem Harvesters refill Gems. Slots with Gas Harvesters refill Gas. Mining ship build cost changed to not require Super Alloy. Bazaar text typos fixed.

  • Season 2 started! Update 1.1.5 Released. - 23 May 2022

I'm making the game seasonal and doing a server reset for season 2 since the player count is pretty low and tons of people are requesting a reset. The seasons will be really long, like a year or more since it's the type of game it is. I'm going to add stuff that is carried over from one season to another such as titles to lessen the feeling of "What's the point of doing anything if it's all going to be lost", and the starter system will be more customizable and kept between seasons. Existing alliances will also be kept. Time Crystals purchased will also be re-added. I'm not just doing a server reset though, a lot of work has been put into the update that will come with it. The reset will come with the 1.1.5 update which adds: Passive credit income added back. Stellar Rep leveling reworked to cost Credits since any positive income will become Credits now. (So Honorariums removed) Reworke…

  • Update 1.1.4 Released! - 21 November 2021

Changelog: Ship weapon and module slot counts fixed on production screen. Worker counts on the corp stats rounded to 2 digits instead of 4. Alien ships not staying unlocked fixed. Bug fixed where Gas Extractor addon 3 doesn't show the cost. Sound effect added for when lightning beam is activated. Nuke and ship explosions sounds swapped so nukes have the most powerful explosion sound. Bug fixed where the close screen sound tried to play after the guide was closed and the sound source was disabled. Bug where tab to open star and plant count on the starmap stays enabled after opening the slide-out fixed. Inconsistencies with habitat and resort max population numbers being 4.5m instead of 45m on building stats screen fixed. Guide updated to fix some of the vestigial instructions that are no longer good advice, like building a greenhouse early. I made a new page on the "Guides" screen that h…

  • 1.1.3 Released! - 16 October 2021

Chapter 2 of the campaign and the second raid added. Most alien ships buildable. Some new alien ships added to fill out the alien ship roster. NPC fleet generation made a little smarter by making it not add Energy Cores on ships that don't have any use for energy. I got tired of how you couldn't double click an asteroid to access the "return to starter planet" and other navigation arrows, so I made double clicking asteroids open the planet stats screen just like a normal planet. Bug fixed where Military Budget still showed that it was costing even when the ship was mothballed fixed. EMP ship lightning weapon damage boost raised from 10% to 20%, and a bug where Lightning Beam wasn't being boosted fixed. Small visual improvement: Engines hand tweaked for each individual ship to look as good as possible and clip with the ship body less. Randomization added to make the engine effects look m…

  • Update 1.1.2 Released! - 10 September 2021

Update 1.1.2 Released on 9/8/21: Reflections added to ships and planets. Lighting overhauled to be much darker and more realistic. Text clickable on top bar and planet stats screen with either help boxes or convenience actions. I plan on making text on more screens clickable in future updates. Ship Deck reflections being cleared when opening and closing the logs screen and other screens fixed. Planet cache system reworked. Dead land units showing up in inventory fixed. AI not using focus fire on the correct ships fixed. Another layer of AI Focus fire decision making added, prioritizing ships that are using repair or shield beam rather than just lowest HP. Comet gas effect improved. Max zoom distances increased so you can zoom in way closer than you would ever want to. Quartz and Rhodium asteroids added. Click the Star Name on the top bar or in the planet stats screen to jump straight to…

  • 1.1.1 Hotfix - 26 August 2021

This update will be shorter to fix the notifications not popping up bug. I'm going to try to get as many other fixes in as possible. Notifications not popping up fixed. Aqua and Relgar moon names being swapped fixed. Bug where music/combat volume doesn't stay where you put it unless you quit the application after setting it fixed. Planets owned screen opening speed being much slower after the first time you open it fixed. FPS improved significantly on the Planets Owned Screen and other screens with scrolling. Loading message when opening the starmap added to make it look less like it froze up while it's loading the starmap. Starting module category being set to 0 and freaking it out if you tried to scroll without selecting a category first fixed.

Short description

Andromeda is a hybrid between a space 4X and an MMO for Android and PC. Get dropped into an online universe sandbox with 2 galaxies full of planets to colonize. Build structures like Mines to generate resources to build ships and engage in fleet battles with NPCs and other players.

About this game

Andromeda isn't like most other games, it has been slowly developed by one person for years now, and the direction it has taken has been constantly shaped by feedback and ideas from users to make it what it is today. It's not super fast paced. You can't really pick it up for an hour and get much out of it. It's intended to be a digital universe in your pocket with its own virtual economy and a community of people that will probably be around for awhile. To be clear though, it's not an idle clicker game, it does take thought and strategy to succeed. It is heavily economy oriented, with an emphasis on colonizing entire solar systems full of planets and building structures on them to generate resources over time, making it a bit of a mix of a 4X space game (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate), Universe Simulator, and a Tycoon game. Fleet battles are 1v1, so while you can't be in the same fight with a friend, you can help defend your friend's territory from attacks by leaving your fleet in orbit over their planet. The universe is persistent, so anything gained is kept, allowing you to build up a large interstellar empire over time. Gameplay - Play as an interstellar Corporation that warps to the safety of the Andromeda Galaxy to escape an alien invasion of Earth and The Milky Way. Build up an economy by constructing and upgrading habitats for workers, solar arrays for power, resorts for tourists, mines and refineries for metals, and much more. Hire a Stellar Representative that levels up and gains perk points that can be used to boost the efficiency all the planets in a solar system. Use the resources you've harvested from your planets to build ships and outfit them with weapons and support modules. Create colony ships to expand your Corporation to even more planets and moons. Terraform your planets to make them more habitable for your Workers and Tourists by altering the planet's Temperature, Water Level and Pollution. Form fleets of up to 12 ships and retake Earth, Mars and the rest of Sol from the aliens known as "Strith", or fight against other players and take their planets. Not into PvP? The starter system and Andromeda galaxy is completely P…

Steam marketplace comparison data

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Oct 5, 2026 to Oct 5, 2026
  • Lowest observed: Free
  • Highest observed: Free

Andromeda: Rebirth of Humanity's USD price history spans from Oct 5, 2026 to Oct 5, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is Free, the highest is Free, and the first visible tracked price is Free. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 0
  • Discounted days: 0 days
  • Deepest markdown: No discount tracked
  • Latest sale window: No sale window tracked

Andromeda: Rebirth of Humanity's tracked USD rows do not contain a discount window. This means no available snapshot in the stated coverage has usable discount metadata; it does not prove that the game was never discounted. Missing snapshots or archived rows without complete metadata can hide a sale, so SteamPulse does not infer pricing strategy from this absence.

If a later snapshot includes discount metadata, it will appear here with its recorded depth, price, date, and sale name when available. Until then, this section should be read only as a description of the available rows, not as evidence about the publisher's promotion policy.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at Free, from Oct 5, 2026 through Oct 5, 2026. Among rows without discount metadata, the longest unchanged run lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at Free. The latest run records Free for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking as the same recorded undiscounted price. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: Free
  • Current list price: Free
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Andromeda: Rebirth of Humanity at Free in USD, with no active discount metadata. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
