- Build Update 10 – Indicators - 12 December 2023
Towers of Thana is about making the right decisions in the midst of chaos. To make the right decisions, you need to have the right information easily accessible. This is where the new Indicators come into play. Indicators On the edge of the screen, we have placed new icons that provide vital information about what’s happening outside of your field of view. This will allow you to keep an eye on the different strategic points on the map. For each Vessel, enemy cluster, Super Tower, and the Core, you’ll see an indicator tracking each one. Except for the enemy cluster, each of them tracks how much health they have. When the Core or a Super Tower is under attack, the Indicator will blink, alerting you that providing support should be considered. Mortars' Range Have you ever been pinned down by mortars from really far away from a Vessel? Yeah, it annoyed us too, so we finally got around to figure out the issue with this seemingly unlimited range and fixed it. Now, you need to be from a reasonable distance from the Vessel for them to launch mortars at you. Fire Ring Self-Damage Have you ever felt like the Sun Tower combo was... wrong? In the midst of action, it was hard to pin point the issue, but after a bit of focused trial and error, it became obvious that the problem arose when you activated that power: the hitbox, which allows enemies to hit the character, expanded significantly. As big as the Fire Ring itself actually! If an enemy was attacking a tower or anything like that, but the ring happened to be in the area, the player would take damage too. Whenever we start to work on something, we like to think about the possible challenges that may come our way and plan accordingly. You know, doing some planning and thinking ahead of time can save a lot of effort in the long run. It’s usually better to put together a plan of attack then move forward than try to rush things and have to adjust mid-flight. But what happens when the plan doesn’t hold up? Well, life gets hard. - Build Update 6 - Upgrade Notifications & Fixes - 25 July 2023
Hi everyone! It's been two weeks now since we released the Upgrade feature and we've had time to collect valuable feedback. Today, we are releasing a new build update that will tackle a few minor bugs and quality of life changes, as well as introduce a new notification feature for available upgrades. Introduced a new notification system that tells you whenever you have enough resources to unlock an upgrade for a specific tower in the Loadout. Fixed a bug where the Evil Eyes would not properly shoot their projectiles. Fixed an issue where a ping sound effect would play on repeat every 5 seconds during a live round. Fixed a visual bug where the link between a Vessel and its spawns would disappear when going over water environment (Polynesian kingdom). Hello everyone! Today, we are releasing a new build update for Towers of Thana. This build features a few tweaks and fixes, but most importantly, two new features: interactive input tutorials and tower upgrades. Let’s dive right into it! Tower Upgrades One of the main goals in Towers of Thana is to empower the player and allow him to create his personal loadout and strategy. As you know, the player finds and equips mythological artifacts to gain new towers and abilities. We are pushing this concept one step further with tower upgrades. With enough soul shards (currency found in missions or earned as mission rewards), you can now upgrade your artifacts and grant new powers to your towers. Artifacts can be upgraded in the Inventory in order to unlock different abilities. For example, the Lightning Tower, which specializes in stuns and area of effect damage, can be upgraded in 3 different…

Hello everyone, this one is a quick update to let you know about our new build available on Steam. You can get access to the game over here. Here are the changes introduced in this new build: Player Attacks are now displayed in the HUD (Left-click and Right-click abilities) with visual icons and cooldowns. Removed “Press Any Button to Continue” from the End Screen. Vessel Behavior: Commander has been tweaked (behavior + animations). Fixed a bug where a Vessel would remain immune permanently, making it impossible to complete the mission. See you in Thana!
- Build Update 1 - Improved Vessels - 17 May 2023
Hello everyone, Today we're pleased to release a new build for Towers of Thana. This new demo features mostly changes from the feedback received at PAX East and what we observed during the event. So a big thank you to all of those who took the time to talk with us and helped us improve the game! Outside of bug fixes, we improved the combat around Ogur Vessels, rotated the in-game camera to improve the field of view, added mission objectives in the HUD and added graphic settings in the Pause Menu. Like the PAX build, the game starts off with a choice between two loadouts and scenarios: Vessel Behaviors In the Egyptian map, you have to destroy 3 rounds of Ogur's Vessels to stop the invasion of the territory.
