And while you’re here, feel free to check out the new video covering the previous Diving & EVA Suit update.Weapons in Bags and CratesA recent forum suggestion pushed me to finally implement this long‑planned and genuinely helpful system. Weapons can now be stored inside backpacks and front bags, as well as placed in most crates.Storage Rules: Backpacks & Front BagsBackpacks can store:Melee weapons (Gazrurka only fits in some backpacks)SidearmsLong Weapons — except Railgun and Sniper RifleFront Bags can store:Melee weapons (Gazrurka excluded; Front Bag Small cannot fit a Crowbar)SidearmsPockets cannot store any weapons. In general, you can move any weapon that visually fits inside the container. - Useful HE and EVA Suit Improvements - 14 September 2026
Welcome, SurvivorsToday’s update brings a few small but important fixes that improve consistency and prevent unintended damage events.HE Collision CorrectedApplies to 12 mm Mini‑HE Rounds for the Hybrid Auto Launcher 2K (HAL 2K).HE projectiles could sometimes detonate after hitting the cloud of another projectile mid‑flight. At close range, this could cause accidental damage to the player. This behavior is now corrected.Reminder: HE rounds still deal damage on proper impact — walls, terrain, or enemies.EVA Suit Damage – Correct Breathing Behavior at Integrity 0When Suit Integrity reached 0, breathing lock activated correctly — but suffocation also triggered even with an open visor, without a helmet, or in breathable zones. This is now fixed. You only suffocate when all conditions are met:Suit Integrity = 0visor closedno breathable air in the environmentRegards, Paweł
- Survivors, Your Achievements Are Back 👌🏻 - 13 September 2026
Hello Survivors! 👨🏻🚀Today’s update brings an important fix related to Steam achievements — proper unlocking and full achievement support inside the Statistics tab.Achievements Are Working AgainAs mentioned earlier, I’ve been working on updating the Steam achievement system for the new engine version. Yesterday’s attempt didn’t succeed, but today it finally did. I tested unlocking the new achievement The Xibal’Teh Descent, which I successfully earned after this update.Other achievements should now unlock correctly for everyone. If any achievement still fails to unlock on your side, please let me know.Note: Steam’s achievement pop‑up behaves inconsistently. Sometimes it appears immediately in‑game, sometimes only after exiting Hiraeth — just like The Xibal’Teh Descent did for me. I’ll continue investigating, but as far as I know, Steam handles caching differently depending on the sess…
- Deep Diving & EVA Suit Improvements - 12 September 2026
Welcome, survivors! 👨🏻🚀Today’s update focuses on diving and the EVA Suit — a set of new underwater mechanics and improvements. Dive in and check out what’s new! Dive & EVA Suit UpdateOxygen consumption now scales with dive depth — the deeper you go, the faster you use oxygen, with an additional multiplier based on the selected difficulty level. The safe depth limit is 30 meters. Below this threshold, the EVA Suit begins to take pressure damage depending on depth and difficulty. The suit’s condition is monitored continuously, with status checks every ~3 seconds.Destroying the EVA Suit (Integrity 0) now cuts off your ability to breathe — oxygen flow is blocked even with a full tank. Even a minor repair restores breathing.Added a cracked‑visor effect when the EVA Suit is damaged. For now, the effect disappears after a standard repair using Duct Tape.Added a dedicated dive light — especi…

- Crafting tool selection fix - 31 August 2026
Small but important crafting fixA minor yet meaningful update to the crafting system. In the previous version, tools could not be selected properly, which made most crafting actions impossible. This issue was easy to isolate and correct — and it’s now fully fixed.New tutorial video — the beginning of a seriesYesterday I released a new tutorial video — the start of a continuous series for both new and advanced players:Master the Quick Menu — Survive SmarterThis tutorial explains the rules and practical use of the Quick Menu. It may seem simple, but after talking with many of you, I realized that some players don’t use this feature at all — and its mechanics aren’t fully described in the in‑game help or on the Training Center.I believe this video makes everything clear. I strongly recommend using Quick Access — it’s something I rely on constantly.English translation of this and future vide…
- Forging the Unknown — Meteorite Processing & World Systems Update - 29 August 2026
Hello Survivors! 👨🏻🚀The addition of meteorites and collectible meteorite fragments naturally shaped today’s update. You can now process gathered meteorite material into crafting components, along with several new meteorite‑based items and blueprints. I’ve also included a handful of previously announced changes — enjoy!🔥 Major Crafting AdditionsNew Station: Thermal ForgeThermal Forge is a new automated crafting station that processes meteorite fragments and metal scrap into usable crafting materials. Small Update — Meteorite Impact EventThe new meteorite event has received a stability pass and its trigger logic is now fully confirmed.Meteorites can now appear starting from the first in‑game day on Nesoi Island.A new HUD widget now appears when a meteor enters the atmosphere, accompanied by a brief warning alarm — a cue to look around Nesoi and track its descent.Regards, Paweł
- 🔥 The floor is lava & Don't Look Up! ☄️ - 24 August 2026
🌌 Meteors Descend Upon NesoiThe sky above Nesoi is no longer quiet. Random meteors now tear through the atmosphere, striking the island with violent force. Anyone — you or your enemies — caught too close to the impact zone may not survive. Craters mark the landing sites, hiding rare meteorite fragments that will soon become valuable crafting resources. For now, these celestial visitors arrive rarely and alone. Soon, smaller meteor showers will follow.📡 A Call to Meteor WatchersMeteor impacts are unpredictable. They may fall behind cliffs, in distant valleys, or right in front of you. Listen for the thunderous impact. Watch for the flash of the descending bolide. The first explorer who captures a meteor mid‑flight or at the moment of impact will be written permanently into the HIRAETH universe — your nickname woven into the scenario. - 🛞 Born to the Ride – Driving Camera, Achievements, Voice Logs & World Fixes - 20 August 2026
Hello, Survivors! 👨🏻🚀Yesterday I played a longer session — from the landing at Last Drop through both main quests. It took me three in‑game days, I reached level 14, unlocked several new and overdue Steam achievements, and overall had a very solid experience. No major bugs, no blockers. But I did encounter a few issues around the new quest, voice messages, and post‑quest behavior in Let There Be Light. As you can see below, these are now fixed — along with several other improvements. Enjoy!Siterep - this update after Steam Playachievments confirmed, I just got my:Virex buggy doesn't disappear far from the start, weapons available!Success!Virex Vehicle – Look Around FeatureThe Virex has been in the game for quite a while, and long‑distance driving across Nesoi Island used to work flawlessly. - Enemy Inventory Fix + New Task: Directive: Obedient - 9 August 2026
Hello Survivors! 👨🏻🚀Today brings the last of the unusually frequent updates this week. Each one followed quickly after the previous because I managed to resolve several important issues — hence the number of patches. Here’s what’s new in today’s update.🛅 Fixed Enemy Inventories: ZEDs & CreaturesA long‑standing issue caused enemies to spawn with incorrect inventory items. The reason: newer Unreal Engine versions sometimes misread inherited actor classes, mixing up assigned loot pools — a known Memory Leak problem.Examples of the bug:ZEDs could drop spider glandsSpiders or raptors could drop “human” items like food or medicineThis is now fixed.Summary of changes:Correct items now appear in enemy inventoriesNew randomized inventory for ZEDsFeral ZED should now carry ARS RemedyAll enemy voice lines/sounds have been re‑enabledNotes:I tested the new build — enemy inventories match the in…
