  This update includes a brand new way to play, an overhaul to the debt system, and many improvements to the gameplay experience. Gameplay Added bomb collar mode, an optional modifier unlocked after completing the game. Mistakes are more costly, and reaching any failure state will delete your current run’s save file. • v1.4 The Color Vision Deficiency Update! - 11 March 2025

  This update features small improvements, fixes, and most importantly, color vision deficiency modes! No gameplay information is exclusively communicated by color, but there are cases where it helps with clarity. These cases will now have more CVD friendly color palettes if one of the CVD modes is selected in the settings menu.   We're starting out the new year with another round of fixes and polish! This will be the last update for a while as I will now be shifting my focus to color blindness settings, which are turning out to be very challenging to implement. Popup ads will no longer close the category selection window. Added a fail-safe in case bills get pushed off the screen somehow. All late fees will now be condensed into a single object to make managing bills easier. Fixed an issue where bills could be seen exiting the bottom of the shredder mid-shred. Fixed several situations where clicking on a window did not bring it up to the front of the screen.   This update features small gameplay adjustments, quality of life improvements, as well as some visual upgrades and bug fixes! Added an indication of puzzle completion outside of the app itself. Lowered the shaking required for popup ads. Increased scroll wheel sensitivity on the products tab. Made high-level mid-day music slightly harder to trigger.   This updates includes a few fail state bug fixes and save game optimizations. Fixed some situations where the save game system would cause the game to crash. Fixed situations where multiple fail states could stack, causing the end screen to change each time. Fixed situations where the day could complete after hitting a fail state. Fixed visuals for a certain end-game mechanic not lining up with the game state. Fixed situations where the sanity puzzle could be completed and still fail the player. Fixed strange "wiggle" effect on the timeline screen. Fixed some story progress cases that were not accounted for.

• Freezing Fix and Thank You! - 21 October 2024

  Thank you so much to everyone who checked out the demo this past week! Extra thanks to all of you who submitted bug reports as well! Now that Next Fest is coming to a close, the demo will remain available until Monday the 28th of October. At which point, it will be taken down so it can be replaced by a more up-to-date version. If anyone still wants to try it out, you have one week to do so. If anyone encountered an issue involving the game locking up during the intro, this has been fixed, so please give it another shot if you are still interested!
